This is very simple HST calculator for Prince Edward Island province.
Any input field can be used:
- Enter price without HST – HST value and price including HST will be calculated.
- Enter HST value and get HST inclusive and HST exclusive prices.
- Enter HST inclusive price and calculate reverse HST value and HST exclusive price.
Prince Edward Island was the last province to introduce Harmonized Sales Tax. In 2013 it started to use HST instead of GST and PST.
On 1st of October, 2016 HST rate was increased from 14% to 15%.
Current (2024) HST rate in Prince Edward Island province is 15%.

I am a plumber and purchase goods and pay HST i.e. 10.00 +1.50= 11.50. I sell to my customer this same part for 20.00 + 3.00= 23.00. Other business men are telling me I cannot tax the customer for the HST? I think I am right but could you please clarify for me. In this example I wld submitt to HST collected 3.00 and cost of goods HST 1.50.
